Have a wonderful spring break everyone! Enjoy this time to relax and have some fun.  Ramdan Kareem  Looking forward to seeing you all back at school on Monday April 3. Humanities 7 ELA Remember to read over the break. You should be reading a book (at your reading level) that you enjoy, and using read theory (https://readtheory.org/).  We will begin Book Talks in April, and you must have recently finished a book by April 17. You will not have class time to review your book, so make sure that you have read it recently, and can explain details about it. The Book Talk presentations will be on the Friday April 21. Happy reading!

Humanities 7 On   Thursday, May 25   Grade 7 SWL students will have the opportunity to attend a field trip to Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller, Alberta. This is a full day field trip where students will participate in activities hosted by the museum, look at dinosaur fossils, and explore the interesting Alberta badlands.     In order for this unique learning opportunity to take place, at least 3 parent volunteers from each homeroom are needed! If there are not enough parent volunteers for this trip it will unfortunately be cancelled, I need confirmation from parent volunteers by March 23, 2023. Police Information Checks (PICs) and a completed volunteer form are needed to successfully volunteer for this event and the PICs take about 4-6 weeks to process if you do not currently have one.    If you are interested in volunteering, or have any questions about this field trip, please contact Ms. Renae Hemsing by emailing her at   rehemsing@cbe.ab.ca . If you plan to volunteer for this trip
